Meet the Finns in Finland
Cosy Finland’s home visit process in six easy steps
When visiting Finland reserve from you calendar evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm (at 18-21) to experience Finnish Lifestyle. During that time most of Cosy Finland's programs are ongoing. Every day, all year round and in all weather conditions.
Afternoon programs take place from 1 pm to 4 pm (at 13-16).
Booking one or two weeks in advance. If you are already in Finland, do not hesitate to ask last minute bookings. Some hosts are prepared to organize you a home visit at a short notice.
How many, where, when and special interests you might have.
Also to enable us to make a perfect choice of the host the food restrictions and allergies should be informed when placing an inquiry.
If you have no other preferences, just give your hotel address in Finland and we locate the host most convenient host to reach.
We encourage you to fill in the form as carefully as you can so that we can find a tailor made solution for you.
After receiving your filled inquiry form we can start our service process to match your requests. We will email you a quotation including the prices and terms. If you accept our suggestion we will proceed to find you a host.
Generally our guests like us to match but you may like to have a look at some of our host profiles. It may give you extra inspiration for your visit.
Centrally located hosts are an easy solution but your bonus in using our home visits is to get to know more than the downtown. Take advantage of it and choose a more distant address! You will get instructions how to reach your host’s home by well using the well-functioning public transportation. Your host will meet you at end stop, if you like.
If you accept the host we will send you an e-mail invoice through PayPal www.paypal.com. Your booking will be confirmed by paying the invoice.
We will send you an invitation to your email. The invitation includes information concerning the location of the host, time of the event and also relevant information on how to get to the location.
How to get there?
If you feel to be like a local you will use public transportation. If you wish your local host will meet you at the end train station or bus/tram stop. To more distant homes the instructions include even the timetable.
If you feel comfortable you can choose a taxi. Most common taxi size is four seats and therefore four guests is a convenient group size. If bigger, book a taxi in advance.
Many international guests have enjoyed our events. We get feedback to our quality tool but also directly to my e-mail. It is very nice to to receive this kind of mails – and I am receiving them regularly.

One of the highlights of our Scandinavian trip
"I just filled out the feedback form but I wanted to let you personally know what a wonderful experience Leonard and I had with our host couple. From the time they picked us up from the train station to when they returned us there we could not have been more pleased. When we got to their house they first showed us all through their whole house which was a lovely surprise. It was a beautiful warm evening and we sat outside for the next 2 hours enjoying a beautifully prepared and presented meal and great conversation. Their adult daughter was there and she was a delight as well. Please give kudos to the rest of your organization as this was a first-rate experience and one of the highlights of our Scandinavian trip. Please feel free to share anything we have said in your advertising.
Thanks again, Linda"
"Thank you for this lovely project. It gave us the opportunity to meet with the Finnish culture, something we could not do in other ways.We got a very generous hospitality, and find a lovely family whom we had a lot in common with - parents and children.
"Our visit to a family in Turku was great! We were introduced to the Finnish culture and much more. All our family has found friendly hosts - parents and children, and an experience we could not find in any other way. Thanks!" From the Laatuverkko-quality net feedback.
